اليونان تعزز تعاونها مع مصر في البنية التحتية وإمدادات الغاز

(رويترز) – قالت وزارة الطاقة اليونانية إن اليونان ومصر اتفقتا يوم الخميس على توسيع نطاق تعاونهما في إمدادات المسال ودراسة إمكانية بناء خط لأنابيب الغاز بين البلدين تحت سطح البحر.

وتتطلع اليونان، التي تستورد الغاز بشكل أساسي من الجزائر وأذربيجان وروسيا وتركيا، إلى تنويع مواردها لتصبح مركزا للطاقة في جنوب شرق أوروبا.

وقالت وزارة الطاقة اليونانية في بيان إن الجانبين وقعا مذكرة تفاهم في القاهرة يوم الخميس في خطوة صوب توقيع اتفاقيات محددة بين الشركات اليونانية والمصرية.

وفي الشهر الماضي، اتفقت اليونان ومصر على خطة لمد كابل تحت البحر لربط شبكتي الكهرباء في الدولتين.
