أبوظبي تعلن عن 9 مشاريع جديدة لدعم مبادرة الإمارات المناخية

القاهرة (رويترز) – قال مكتب أبوظبي الإعلامي في بيان يوم الجمعة إن دائرة الطاقة في الإمارة أعلنت عن تسعة مشاريع رئيسية لدعم مبادرة الإمارات الاستراتيجية لتحقيق الحياد المناخي بحلول 2050.

وأضاف المكتب أن من المتوقع أن تخفض المشاريع المخطط لها، بجانب المشاريع القائمة، انبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون الناتجة عن توليد الطاقة وإنتاج المياه في أبوظبي بنسبة 50 بالمئة على الأقل على مدى عشر سنوات.

وتهدف الإمارة إلى الوصول لقدرة إنتاجية للطاقة النظيفة تصل إلى 8.8 جيجاوات بحلول 2025.
